We had a great day yesterday of eating, napping, and drinking wine. Last night we made escalope de dinde with cauliflower au gratin. The highlight for Vicki, though, was the pistachio ice cream. Today we spent the morning in the market in Chemille. We are celebrating the 4th of July with a caprese salad, merguez and other sausages, mogettes (white beans), and a tarte with plums.
Gabi arrived at 4:15 at Chemille. She is ready for the week here, but unfortunately the weather is overcase. We are hoping to see the sun tomorrow when we go to Clisson.
